Solar PV installation for northwest retail property
The installation of a 100kW solar PV installation to the flat roof over a large retail unit close to Warrington. Using a 425W solar panel, the array was mounted on an east/west flat roof ballast secured mounting system to maximise and even out generation over the day and prevent breeching the weathering surface of the roof.
Using three 25kWSolarEdge inverters the whole system can be monitored for performance and system management through a web-based portal allowing remote access.
It is estimated the array will allow the retailer to self-generate in excess of 80% of their annual electricity consumption and export a significant surplus during summer months.
